Terminal Transfers
Transfer
to North Terminal: Use the free train situated on the 1st floor of South
terminal, near the main railway station.

Both the
North terminal and South Terminal of Gatwick Airport fly to the UK, European and International destinations,
so please check with your carrier before arrival which terminal you are flying
from.

Self
Service check in
As well as staff
operated the check in desk, self service is available for a limited number of
operators although the number offering this service is increasing all the time.
Using self service avoids standing in queues, saving time and is simple to use and
safe, allowing you choose your seat and get your boarding card. The self
service can be done online or check in kiosks at the airport depending on the
airline.

flights departing with British airways
and First Choice you can check in the day under certain restrictions
British Airways
Charge: free
Flights
due to fly before 15:15 the next day are eligible. The check in is simple using the Self service
machine between 16:00 and 22:00 then proceed to Fast Bag drop in Zone C to drop
of your bag (Note: All passengers must
be present at check in)
First
Choice Airways
Charge: £5 per passenger, payable in advance
through First Choice
Flights due to fly before 09:00 the next day. Check in using the self service machine the
day before between 12:00 -22:00 Other conditions: All passengers must be present at check-in, with
the exception of families travelling under the same surname; adults can check
in on behalf of children under 12 years of age. The service is not available to
those passengers collecting their tickets on the day of departure. The service
is not available to passengers travelling with ski, snowboard or sports
equipment (www.gatwickairport.com).

Boarding is usually
around 45 minutes prior to take off, but please check the monitors
scattered around the airport regularly to get details of the correct
departure gate and boarding time.
